Environmental impacts

Our well-trained and valued workers carry out forest management with all the environmental attention that should be taken. Only part of the trees of commercial age of certain species are extracted, and the felling is carried out so as not to compromise the other trees in its surroundings.

The dragging and transport of wood also takes place in a planned and careful manner, in order to avoid erosion and loss of soil nutrients. And the water sources are preserved both in the felling process and in transport.

All this carefulness favors the dispersion of seeds and the natural regeneration of the forest. Animals continue to have areas of shelter and refuge, feeding and hunting. Thus, the entire ecosystem is protected and biodiversity is conserved.
